I haven’t gotten the chance to update my laptop yet. Ubuntu [Kubuntu is what's on my laptop] is a very nice and solid OS, perfect for my laptop which doesn’t have the power to run any windows dev tools anyway. I use my laptop mainly for web browsing, war driving, and emergency remote server repair [always a fun one]
Speaking of servers, we recently got a iSCSI partition setup for our Softlayer box.
The throughoutput kinda sucks, but the seek time has to be seen to beleave. I just slapped databases on it, and we hope that’ll make things scream.
