Broken Objects, Trip, Etc

Friday, March 30th, 2007

I just looked at my home page in Internet Explorer the first time in a year today, and realized the links weren’t showing up. Turns out I forgot to close the flash object tag, whops! Opera and Firefox worked fine of course. :P

But anyways, spring break starts today. Family and I are gonna go down to Florida and do stuffets for a week.

I’ll be War Driving.

Oh and check it out: Lappy Ready for War Driving - Needa clean out the connectors though, dirt got in them from bag and all, bleh. Pig-tail for antenna is also starting to come apart a bit, not quite a good thing.

And yeah.

Look out for RScript’s April Fools prank coming, as well as a quick re-surface of NDC for another quick prank.

Am I seeing things, or did folding@home totally shatter the super-computer record with those PS3s?

ubuntu 7.04

It… isn’t all what it’s cracked up to be.

It’s definately nice, but doesn’t really have any new features imho, besides package updates.

I donno. :P

Edit: Actually as I think about it I had the same reaction trying out vista last year [customer preview program]. Perhaps it’s not that much of a change, it’s the same stuff, some new stuff, but overally the same.. is change really all that bad? Hm.

I’ma Chargin Mah Ubuntu Lazerz!

I’m downloading the beta of 7.04 Ubuntu. I’m seeding both the x86 and amd64 standard isos in the torrents - so keep a look out for a micksam7.com seeding those. ;) Seeding shall stay up overnight likely. 2 MBytes per second should be enough for everyone.

I’ll post again for what I think as soon as my home pc finishes downloading it and I get it on a cd.

So.. yeah.
